Brad Ashwell

Brad Ashwell is an experienced professional in civil rights and consumer protection, currently serving as the Florida State Director for The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights since May 2019. Prior roles include Research Associate at Integrity Florida, where responsibilities included conducting research and collaborating with media, and Legislative Director for the Florida Alliance for Consumer Protection, advocating for consumer rights and tenant protections. Ashwell also held positions as Florida Policy Director at State Voices, focusing on legislative collaboration among non-profits, and State Director at the Florida Public Interest Research Group, where duties encompassed lobbying and program direction. Early career experience involved serving as a Senior Research Associate at Common Cause and Program Coordinator at Legal Services of North Florida, managing various legal assistance programs.
