Dena L. Craig

Dena L. Craig has a diverse work experience in various roles within the media and communications industry. Dena L. is currently the Director of Media Relations at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights since January 2022. Before that, they worked as a Supervising Producer and Media & Communications Consultant from December 2020 to January 2022. Dena L. also had a freelance role as a Supervising Producer at SpringHill Entertainment in November and December 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Communications for Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (TX-30) from November 2019 to November 2020. Dena L. has held supervising producer roles at Red Table Talk, as well as being self-employed, where they also handled media relations. Dena L. has previous experience as a business liaison consultant at Lilly USA, where they worked on marketing and sales relationships, and as a senior sales representative. Dena L. has also worked as a casting producer for TV One and as a field producer for Fresh Horses Productions. Dena L. began their career in the media industry as a segment producer for Endemol.

Dena L. Craig completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 1991. Dena L. then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Journalism from Northwestern University, Medill School of Journalism, which they completed in 1998.
