Geoff Thompson

Geoff Thompson is an experienced professional in the field of civil engineering and geotechnical testing. Currently serving as the Field and Lab Operations Manager at Civil Science since June 2015, Geoff Thompson oversees daily operations for the material testing department, contributing to the development and implementation of quality systems for AMRL and CCRL accreditation. Prior to this role, Geoff Thompson was a Senior Field and Lab Tech at Taney Engineering, where a QSM program was established based on AASHTO and ASTM standards. Additional experience includes working as a Senior Lab & Field Tech at GeoTek, Inc., supporting the opening of a North Dakota branch, and serving as a Lab Supervisor at Earth Exploration, managing operations for various commercial and state projects. Geoff Thompson holds a degree in Natural Resources with a focus on Geological/Geophysical Engineering from Ball State University.
