Alaina Curry is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager at Civilla since June 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing storytelling across social media and press strategies. Previously, Alaina held the position of Communications & Partnerships Lead at Change.org, focusing on corporate communications strategies and leading significant campaigns, including the high-profile Justice for George Floyd petition. Alaina's earlier roles include Senior Media Relations Manager at Change.org, Senior Account Executive at Bread & Butter, and Account Executive at Kirvin Doak Communications, where major brand campaigns were launched for clients like MGM Resorts International. Alaina began the career in public relations as an intern at Weber Shandwick and has gained notable experience in community relations and freelance writing throughout the professional journey. Alaina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Texas State University.
