Allison Ulrich has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of community planning, grants management, and housing policy. Allison is currently employed as a Senior Grants Manager at Civix, where they support government agencies and non-profit organizations in implementing programs aimed at improving communities. Allison also runs their own consulting firm, Ulrich Consulting, where they provide management and policy consultation services to nonprofit and governmental organizations. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Staff Attorney & Consultant at HomeBase, providing legal expertise and consulting services. Allison also has experience working at the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Housing Development Coordinator and Consultant on Housing Policy & Development. Additionally, they have held roles at HomeFirst Services of Santa Clara County, Pro Bono Project Silicon Valley, and the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, where they gained experience in housing advocacy and law. Throughout their career, Allison has focused on issues related to housing, homelessness, social services, and public interest.

Allison Ulrich obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from Santa Clara University School of Law, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Law and Society at the University of California, Davis, between 1999 and 2004. Additionally, Allison Ulrich holds the certification of being a member of the State Bar of California.
