Douglas Owen Chester

Mr Douglas Owen Chester was appointed to the Board on 2 November 2012. He is an Independent Director of the Australian Maritime Shipbuilding and Export Group Pty Ltd.

He was previously a senior Australian Government official and diplomat and, prior to his appointment, held the role of Australia’s High Commissioner to Singapore. Mr Chester holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the Australian National University.
