Rebecca Penberthy has extensive experience in event management and operational leadership within the CIWM organization. Currently serving as Head of Operations and Head of Member Support at CIWM since June 2018, Rebecca previously held the position of Events & Training Manager at CIWM Enterprises Ltd from 1990 until February 2021. In this role, Rebecca was responsible for organizing significant conferences, seminars, and workshops, hosting prominent figures such as HRH Duke of Edinburgh and Boris Johnson. Additionally, Rebecca managed large-scale events, including gala dinners for up to 900 guests and the prestigious CIWM Awards for Environmental Excellence. Earlier in their career, Rebecca worked as an Events Manager at CIWM from 1990 to 2000.
