Nadia Arumugam has a long and varied work experience in the food industry. In 2015, they co-founded ckbk. From 2006 to present, they have been a freelance food writer, copywriter, and culinary consultant. Nadia is currently a food and drinks contributor on Forbes.com and a columnist on Slate. From 2006 to 2008, they were the Food Editor for Fresh magazine, where they developed, edited, and art directed all food features and recipes. From 2004 to 2006, they were the Special Projects Manager for Mosimann's, where they created and developed a range of gourmet food products and wrote all collateral and back-of-product copy.
Nadia Arumugam obtained their Master of Arts (MA) in English Language and Literature, General from the University of Oxford in 2002. Nadia then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in International Theirtory and International Relations at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2002 to 2003. Finally, they earned their second Master of Arts (MA) in Journalism from New York University in 2009.
