Christian Hiemeyer

Christian Hiemeyer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Christian currently serves as the Head of Administration and Accounting at CL-Invest AS, where they are involved in investments in emission reduction activities in emerging markets. Christian'sresponsibilities include identifying, developing, financing, and implementing project activities aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Christian also monetizes emission reductions as carbon credits in carbon markets.

Prior to their current role, Hiemeyer worked as the Managing Director at Hiemeyer Consulting since 2007. Christian has also held the position of a Sales Specialist at Fasec AS from 2021 to 2022.

In 2013, Hiemeyer became the Chairman of Hjott South Africa, where they collaborated with other individuals to establish the Holding Company I Hjott Export AS. This company focuses on investments outside of Norway, with a particular interest in South Africa, where they developed the product Selcrete.

From 2013 to 2021, Hiemeyer served as an Interim CFO for HeVa Holdings, which comprises daughter companies Hellefoss Paper AS and Vafos Pulp AS. Earlier in their career, Hiemeyer worked as the Vice President Sales and Marketing at GME, a venture-funded start-up in secure communications. Christian was responsible for creating an extensive distribution network and overseeing sales and marketing activities. Christian also worked as a Contract Specialist at MTN Nigeria.

Christian Hiemeyer completed a one-year evening program for International Management Development at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco between 1981 and 1985. Before attending university, they studied Shipping and Business Administration at Agder Regional College from 1979 to 1981. In 1977, Christian Hiemeyer completed a program called Sjøkrigsskolen KA linje, and they attended Berg Vidregående skole from 1974 to 1977.
