Diego Cubas - Executive Search - Board Search

Diego Cubas has extensive work experience in executive search and board search roles. Diego is currently the Global Board Chairman for Latin America at Cornerstone International Group, where they have been a member of the Global Board of Directors since 2019. In this position, they focus on marketing and sales to increase Cornerstone's brand positioning and market share. Diego has also held leadership positions within Cornerstone in Peru, Mexico, Panama, Ecuador, and Bolivia. As CEO and Managing Partner of Cornerstone Peru and Ecuador, they led the firm in both countries, overseeing a team of senior consultants and conducting search and selection processes for top management positions. Diego has also served as President of Cornerstone's Miami, Ecuador, and Bolivia offices, as well as Partner and Director of Cornerstone Mexico and Panama. Furthermore, Diego has been a member of the APERHU Talent Community, an association for sharing best practices in talent management. Prior to their time at Cornerstone, they worked as Director and Partner at Career Partners International in Peru, where they specialized in outplacement, coaching, and talent management. Diego co-founded CL Selection and served as Partner and Director, contributing to the firm's position as a market leader in executive search in Peru.

Diego Cubas has a diverse education history. In 2023, they completed the CEO's Management Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, specializing in Business Strategy. In 2022, they attended Harvard University for the Theory and Tools of the Harvard Negotiation Project and Corporate Leadership. Additionally, they completed the Global Board of Directors Program at IESE Business School. In 2019, they participated in the PED: Programa de Especialización para Directorios at Escuela de Dirección de la Universidad de Piura, focusing on Directorios. In 2017, they pursued the International Business Program at IESE Business School and the Alta Dirección Program at Escuela de Dirección de la Universidad de Piura, emphasizing Management in a changing world and Business Administration and Management, respectively. Diego also holds an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification from the International Coach Federation (ICF), earned in 2014. Furthermore, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidad del Pacífico in 2010 and a Bachiller degree in Administración from Universidad de Lima.
