Carl Olson, P.E., PTOE, ASEP, is the County Traffic Engineer at Clackamas County, where they lead the Traffic Safety and Motor Carrier Safety teams to enhance transportation safety and efficiency. With over a decade of experience, they supervise projects related to traffic signal operations, safety-focused capital improvements, and data-driven solutions for transportation challenges. Carl holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Portland State University and has previously served in various engineering roles, including a Transportation Systems Engineer at DKS Associates. Outside of work, Carl enjoys fishing, camping, reading, woodworking, and spending time with family.
