Waqas Jamal

Waqas Jamal is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and operations across various industries. Currently serving as the Finance Manager (Head of Finance) at Cladtech International LLC since January 2021, Waqas has successfully implemented a business turnaround plan that led to profitability in FY2023. Previously, Waqas held the position of Finance Manager at Etihad Steel Factory, where management information and reporting systems were designed and internal controls implemented. Significant contributions were also made as Deputy General Manager Business Finance at K-Electric, safeguarding the company's interests through thorough reviews of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). At MABANI STEEL LLC, Waqas headed the finance, credit control, and commercial departments, ensuring timely and quality financial reporting. Waqas began their career as a Senior Cost and Financial Accountant at TSSC Co. LLC, focusing on cost estimation and analysis. Waqas holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Commerce from Karachi University.
