Marcel Zaaijer

Marcel Zaaijer has extensive experience in engineering and governance, currently serving as a member of the municipal council for Gemeente Doetinchem since June 2016 and as a council successor for Gemeente Belangen Doetinchem. In addition, Marcel Zaaijer has held the position of Project Engineer at CLAFIS Ingenieus since January 2017, working on projects for BESI Duiven from February 2017 to December 2019 and for Nijhuis Industries from January 2020 to present. Prior experience includes roles as a Constructeur/Tekenaar at VIRO from March 2013 to December 2016, where involvement included a secondment to VDL Almelo, and as an Assistant Project Manager at Virupa from August 2010 to February 2013. Marcel Zaaijer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering from HTS Autotechniek, completed in 2009.
