Juan David Millán Valero

Juan David Millán Valero has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Juan David started their career in 2006 as a Development Engineer at Gestiontek, where they developed software tools in JAVA, J2EE, and .NET for projects in the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Justice. Juan David then moved on to GHL Hoteles in 2008, where they coordinated the software development area and built centralized web tools using .NET, SQL Server, and IIS.

In 2009, Juan joined SIDEIN as a Project Technical Leader, leading development teams in projects for the implementation of document and process management tools. Juan David also performed project planning, task assignment, and progress presentation with clients.

Juan's next role was at the Financial System Company in 2012, where they worked as a Project Senior Analyst. There, they managed projects based on the company's collection tool for banking customers, including tasks such as scheduling, database development, client follow-ups, and project delivery.

From 2013 to 2018, Juan worked at Miranda Producciones SAS, initially as a Technology Manager, where they coordinated the implementation of a Quality Management System and managed IT resources. Juan David later transitioned to a Project Consultant role, supporting High Management in structuring business plans and IT projects.

In 2018, Juan joined Vector ITC as a PMO Project Consultant. In this role, they provided consultancy services focused on project management for BBVA, including methodology guidance, risk management, and control. Juan David also led Colombia's team during the CMMI 3 certification process and facilitated the Davivienda Quality Audit.

Most recently, Juan has been working at CLAI PAYMENTS as a Project Manager since 2023.

Juan David Millán Valero received their formal education in a chronological manner. Juan David first attended the Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a degree in Systems Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from 2010 to 2011, earning a specialization in Project Management. In 2014, Juan David Millán Valero enrolled at the Universidad Sergio Arboleda and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Juan David Millán Valero has also obtained several certifications. In May 2012, they acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In September 2020, they completed the certifications for "Cómo desarrollar la inteligencia emocional" and "Liderazgo y trabajo en equipo" from LinkedIn. Juan David'smost recent certification was in July 2022, where they obtained the Scrum Master certification from the International Scrum Institute™ (Scrum Institute).
