Paul Gilliam

Paul Gilliam has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Paul started their career in 1996 at Unilever, where they worked in HR manager roles until 2001. From 2002 to 2006, Paul served as an HR Manager at Air France. Paul then joined Air France-KLM in 2006, where they held several positions, including Head of HR Great Britain and Ireland, Responsable Ressources Humaines Europe & North Africa, and VP HR North America. During this time, they were responsible for the people strategy and leadership of the HR function across multiple countries. In 2016, Paul joined L'Oréal as the HR Director for the UK & Ireland until 2020. Paul then took a sabbatical career break before joining Claire's as the VP HR Europe in 2021. Throughout their career, Paul has gained experience in various areas, including employee engagement, talent management, succession planning, middle management development, organizational restructuring, industrial relations, merger integration, and inter-cultural working.

Paul Gilliam studied Social History at the University of Warwick from 1992 to 1996, earning a BA (Hons) followed by a Masters degree.
