Noa Dagan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Noa began their career at Mamram where they served as an instructor, commander, and commanding officer of the IDF Programming Course from 2001 to 2005. Noa then worked at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem as a laboratory associate in the Biochemistry Lab from 2007 to 2009. In 2011, they became a developer of Quality Indicators for the National Program for Quality Indicators in Community Healthcare at the same institution, holding the position until 2013. Moving on, they worked as a medical intern at Kaplan Medical Center from 2013 to 2014 and as a public health resident at Clalit Health Services from 2015 to 2020. During their tenure at the Clalit Research Institute from 2015 to 2020, they held various roles including researcher, head of the Data-Science Automation Team, and chief data officer. In 2019, they transitioned to Clalit Innovation and assumed the role of Head of the Data & AI-driven Medicine Department. Currently, they are a lecturer at the Department of Software and Information Systems Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, starting in 2021.
Noa Dagan has a strong education background in various fields. From 2020 to 2021, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School. Prior to that, they completed their PhD in Computer Science (Machine Learning) from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2016 to 2020. Noa also holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which they earned from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, they have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem obtained from 2008 to 2012. Noa's earliest education achievement is a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Medical Science (B.Med.Sc) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, completed from 2005 to 2008.
