Eric Gareau

CEO, Avanquest at Claranova

Eric Gareau is the CEO of Avanquest at Claranova, a position they have held since 2010. Eric is responsible for crafting the vision and direction of the organization, leading M&A activities and strategic partnerships, and focusing on product innovation and new business models to accelerate organic growth.

Prior to their current role, Eric served as Chapter Chair of the Quebec West Board for the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada from 2010 to 2015. Eric was also the CEO of LULU Software from 2006 to 2010, and Vice President Sales & Marketing for Montebello Packaging from 2005 to 2006.

Eric began their career in 1999 as a Key Account Manager for General Mills / Pillsbury Canada Ltd. Eric was promoted to National Sales Director for L'Oreal in 2001 and then to Vice President Sales & Marketing for Montebello Packaging in 2005. In 2006, they were named CEO of LULU Software.

Under Eric's leadership, Avanquest has become a leading global provider of software and digital solutions. The company has seen significant growth during their tenure, with revenues increasing from $250 million in 2010 to over $800 million in 2018. In addition, Avanquest has been recognized as one of the top 100 global software companies by IDC.

Eric Gareau has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Université du Québec à Montréal and a Certificate in Business Studies from Concordia University. Eric also attended Collège de L'Assomption.

Eric Gareau reports to Pierre Cesarini, Group CEO. They are on a team with Todd Helfstein - President, PlanetArt, Roger S. Bloxberg - CEO, PlanetArt, and Kevin Bromber - CEO, myDevices.
