James Crawford

James Crawford is the Director at Clarapath. James has over 25 years of experience in electronic engineering and has worked with some of the biggest companies in the world. James has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

James started their career in 1995 as an Electronic Engineer with Coltene/Whaledent. James then spent four years as the Principal Design Engineer with ASCO Power Technologies. In this role, they were responsible for system and board-level electronic design for the control of Power Systems used in telecommunications networks, industrial processes, critical installations of care facilities, financial transaction centers and Navy Ships and Submarines.

In 2006, James joined Bayer HealthCare as Sr. Staff Engineer. Device Engineering. James's responsibilities included providing direct electronic design deliverables both internal and external to the organization, to ensure translation of design concepts and requirements into cost effective and robust design solutions. James also provided test protocols, technical reviews, presentations, seminars, and other documentation to support the technical integrity of the electrical engineering function both internally and externally.

In November 2021, James left Bayer to join Clarapath as Director. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company's engineering team and overseeing all product development. James is a highly respected engineer with a proven track record of success in designing and developing innovative products.
