Visiting Scholar at Claremont Graduate University

Paul Simms has extensive experience in health management and public health, with a focus on health information systems and community health improvement. Currently serving as a Visiting Scholar at Claremont Graduate University since 2010, Paul specializes in the development of persuasive technology tools aimed at addressing PTSD and chronic diseases. Previously, Paul held leadership roles including President at San Diego Black Health Associates, Inc., where efforts concentrated on enhancing the health of African Americans, and Director of the Telehealth Initiative at Loma Linda University, overseeing telemedicine system development. Additional experience includes serving as President and CEO of NMA Comprehensive Health Center and interim Dean of Administration at Charles R. Drew University. Starting a career in public health as Deputy Health Director for the County of San Diego, Paul managed significant public health resources. Paul holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan.
