Joe Cummins

Joe Cummins has extensive work experience in various software development roles. Joe is currently working as a Development Manager at Clareto, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Designer and Programmer at Lulu's Local Food since January 2013, where they designed and developed a Farmer's Market SaaS system. Joe also has experience as a Senior Software Architect at the Virginia Department of Corrections from July 2021 to December 2022. Before that, Joe was the Director of Software Development at the Virginia Department of Elections from July 2016 to November 2020. Joe also worked at Smart Resources VA from July 2011 to July 2016, serving as a Software Developer for the Virginia Department of Elections. Additionally, Joe worked as a Senior Web Developer at Markel Corporation from May 2010 to July 2011.

Joe Cummins completed their associate's degree in Computer Programming from ECPI in 2001. Joe then attended Strayer University from 2001 to 2008, focusing on the field of Computer and Information Systems (CIS). In addition, Joe obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in December 2004.
