Dr. Laurentiu Pestritu

Dr. Laurentiu Pestritu, MBA has had a diverse range of experiences throughout their career. Dr. Laurentiu began their professional journey as a Project Manager at VWI in 2003. Dr. Laurentiu then moved on to roles such as OPN IC Channel Manager at Oracle in 2005 and Business Consultant at Schüco International KG in 2005-2006. Dr. Laurentiu later worked as a Business Consultant at Real Hypermarket in 2006-2007.

In 2007, Dr. Pestritu joined Armacell Switzerland AG as a Sales Representative for Romania and later became the Sales Manager for Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldavia. Dr. Laurentiu continued their career at Hira Industries LLC in 2011, where they served as a Product Manager and subsequently as the Global Product Marketing Manager until 2015.

Since 2015, Dr. Pestritu has been associated with Clariant. Dr. Laurentiu held various positions in the company, starting as a Global Project Manager for Commercial Excellence from 2015 to 2019. Dr. Laurentiu then became the Head of Global Competence Center Sales Force Effectiveness from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, they were promoted to the position of Global Head of Sales Effectiveness. Currently, they serve as the Head of Business Development E-Mobility.

Throughout their career, Dr. Laurentiu Pestritu has demonstrated a wide range of skills and expertise in business development, sales effectiveness, project management, and marketing.

Dr. Laurentiu Pestritu, MBA has a diverse education history with a focus on business and management. Dr. Laurentiu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest in 2005. Dr. Laurentiu further pursued their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management & Engineering from Steinbeis Hochschule in 2006. In 2008, they earned a PhD in Sales Management from Academia de Studii Economice din București. Dr. Pestritu also holds several certificates in management from Indiana University Bloomington, The University of Kitakyushu, Technische Universität Darmstadt, and the University of Bayreuth. In 2013, they attended the London Business School for their second MBA degree. In 2019, they focused on marketing by completing a program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Dr. Pestritu's commitment to professional development is evidenced by their recent certification in Business Sustainability Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
