Dr. Maximilian Erhard

Dr. Maximilian Erhard has a strong background in the chemical industry, with experience at Clariant, Klüber Lubrication, and Freudenberg Group. At Clariant, they held various leadership roles, including Global Head of Application Development for Industrial Lubricants and Head of Marketing Coatings & Regions for the BU Care Chemicals division. Prior to their time at Clariant, Dr. Erhard gained valuable experience at Klüber Lubrication, where they worked as a Research & Development Manager, Product Development Manager, Product Development Team Leader, and Product Developer. Dr. Maximilian also participated in a joint research program between Klüber Lubrication and Freudenberg Group, focused on the creation of high-performance lubricants using renewable raw materials.

Dr. Maximilian Erhard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich, which they earned from 2001 to 2005. Dr. Maximilian then pursued a Master's degree in Chemistry at the same institution from 2005 to 2007. Dr. Erhard went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Metal-Organic Polymers at the University of Bristol from 2008 to 2012. Dr. Maximilian also obtained a Post-Doc degree in Frustrated Lewis Acid and Base Pairs from the University of Bristol in 2013.
