Joern Kiepe

Joern Kiepe, Dr. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in process technology and engineering within the chemical and life sciences industries. Currently serving as Director of Process Technology for APAC and as Director of the Process Technology Hub China at Clariant since April 2016, Joern is instrumental in the establishment of labs and pilot plants. Prior roles include General Manager and Vice President at YWK Chemicals, where responsibilities encompassed custom manufacturing for fine chemicals, and R&D Director at Novasep Synthesis, focusing on the safe scale-up of hazardous chemistry. Joern's earlier career includes significant positions at Dynamit Nobel GmbH, where leadership in process development and pilot plant operations was established. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Industrial Chemistry/Chemical Engineering and a Diploma in Chemistry from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg.
