Thomas Ostapowicz

Thomas Ostapowicz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and product management within the chemical industry. Currently, Thomas serves as the Head of Operations Site Oberhausen at Clariant, overseeing a site in Germany that includes a high-pressure production plant, engineering team, supply chain team, a pilot plant, and development and QC laboratories with over 70 employees. Prior to this role, Thomas held several positions at Clariant, including Head of Product Management & Development for Refinery Additives, as well as expertise in application technology and development. Additionally, Thomas worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia under a DAAD research fellowship. Thomas earned a Ph.D. in Technical Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University and a Diplom in Chemistry from The Philipp University of Marburg.
