Victor Johnston

Victor Johnston currently serves as the Head of the R&D Center in Louisville for the Business Unit Catalysts at Clariant since September 2019. Prior to this role, Victor held various positions in renowned companies, including Fellow Process at Celanese, where responsibilities included overseeing an external technology evaluation program and mentoring catalyst researchers globally. At Oxy Vinyls, L.P., Victor managed a dual-site Technical Department responsible for major vinyl chloride monomer plants, focusing on safety, budget, and quality. Victor's earlier experience at The Geon Company involved optimizing process technology to achieve substantial cost savings. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Central Washington University.
