Walter Samaniego

Walter Samaniego is a seasoned professional in analytical chemistry with extensive experience in method development, asset management, and laboratory coordination. Currently serving as the Global Innovation Manager for Clariant since November 2014, Walter has successfully implemented cost-reduction strategies and digital initiatives within the Oil & Gas sector. Previously, Walter held roles at Bruker Biospin and Bruker Optics, contributing to the development of quantitative methods that generated significant revenue and managed the construction of analytical facilities. Additional expertise includes managing production processes at Synthegen and conducting research in medicinal chemistry at Walker Cancer Research Institute. Walter holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology and advanced degrees from University of Buenos Aires and University of Cambridge.
