Howard McLeod serves as the Center Director at the Center for Precision Medicine & Functional Genomics and holds the position of Professor of Biology & Medicine at Utah Tech University, both since April 2023. As a co-founder and board member of Clarified Precision Medicine since January 2020, McLeod actively contributes to advancing precision medicine. Additionally, advisory roles at the Geriatric Oncology Consortium and Intermountain Health, along with board membership at the Personalized Medicine Coalition and Vyant Bio, highlight ongoing involvement in the field. McLeod's academic contributions extend internationally as a visiting professor at Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, where a long-term collaboration with Prof Hong-Hao Zhou focuses on pharmacogenomics research. A founder of the Pharmacogenetics for Every Nation Initiative, McLeod has been instrumental in applying genetic information to healthcare policies in developing countries. McLeod previously served as a professor at USF Health Taneja College of Pharmacy and earned a PharmD in clinical pharmacology from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
