Dejan Hušman

Dejan Hušman currently serves as the Director of Cardiac Solutions at Clario since August 2025, focusing on the development of clinical partnerships in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Israel. Prior to this role, Dejan co-founded and led denovoMATRIX from August 2018 to February 2025, specializing in the development and manufacture of innovative biomaterials for advanced cell culture. Academic achievements include a PhD from Technische Universität Dresden in Chemistry (2013-2018), with a focus on polymeric biomaterials and extracellular matrix engineering, as well as a Master's degree in Molecular BioEngineering from the same institution (2010-2012). Experience also includes positions as an Assistant Scientist at Universitätsklinikum Carl Gustav Carus and B CUBE, TU Dresden, and a PhD candidacy at the Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden, emphasizing skills in molecular and cellular biology.
