Ajit Bopalkar

Ajit Bopalkar currently holds the position of Vice President at Clarion Capital Partners, focusing on Middle Market Buyout and Growth Private Equity since July 2023. Previously, Ajit served as a Venture Investor at Citi Ventures, engaging in software and FinTech investments for a brief period in late 2021 to early 2022. From August 2018 to August 2021, Ajit was a Private Equity Senior Associate at Insight Equity, specializing in Middle Market Buyout Private Equity. Prior experience includes an Investment Banking Analyst role at Guggenheim Partners, where Ajit worked on M&A in Diversified Industrials from July 2016 to June 2018. Ajit earned a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance track and an additional major in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University, and has also studied at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
