Andy Duncan

Andy Duncan is an accomplished academic and writer with extensive experience in the field of English. Currently, Duncan holds the position of Professor of English at Frostburg State University since August 2008, having progressed through the ranks as Associate and Assistant Professor. As an instructor at Clarion West and the Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers' Workshop since 2004 and 2005 respectively, Duncan contributes to the development of emerging writers. A freelance fiction writer since 1994, Duncan has also served as a Senior Editor for Overdrive Magazine and held roles in journalism, including news copy editor and features writer at News & Record from 1986 to 1993. Educational qualifications include an MFA in Fiction Writing from The University of Alabama as well as an MA in English from North Carolina State University and a BA in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
