Jonathan Hurtado

Jonathan Hurtado is an experienced Product Engineer with a focus on system design and process engineering within the battery industry. Currently serving at Clarios since January 2018, Jonathan has progressed through various roles, including Product Engineer II and I, and has experience in electrochemical modeling and new product development for lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries. Prior to Clarios, Jonathan worked at Johnson Controls where responsibilities included serving as a Specialty Systems Engineer and Benchmark & Fleet Testing Engineer, among other roles. A Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering was obtained from Stony Brook University in 2017, where an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering was also earned in 2017. Jonathan has a diverse background that includes internships and leadership roles in engineering and community service.
