Ashu Pachauri

Ashu Pachauri is the Chief Technology Officer at Clarisights. Ashu was previously the Chief Technology Officer at AdWyze from October 2017 to October 2018. Prior to that, they were a software engineer at Meta from May 2015 to October 2017.

Pachauri has experience working as an official Apache HBase committer and has been responsible for contributing to HBase with new features, bug fixes, code reviews, and community participation. Ashu has also been responsible for deciding release plans, applying contributors' patches, monitoring commits and issues, and helping users.

At Meta, Pachauri worked as part of the HBase team and was responsible for onboarding and driving cross team projects that used HBase at Facebook. Ashu also worked closely with teams using HBase at Facebook to enable both latency and throughput sensitive workloads through efficient data modelling, workload distribution and traffic shaping based on use case analysis. In addition, Pachauri was responsible for scaling HBase clusters from scratch to tens of petabytes to drive corresponding use cases.

Ashu Pachauri pursued a B. Tech. in Computer Engineering from Zakir Husain College of Engg. and Tech., AMU. Ashu then pursued an M. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
