Rudy Agovic, PhD has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of data analytics, machine learning, and software development. Rudy began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota in 2002, conducting research in various projects. In 2004, they joined Achieve Healthcare Technologies as a Java Programmer Intern, gaining practical experience in software development. During the same period, they also worked part-time as a Developer at Wurth Adams.

In 2006, Rudy Agovic started working at UpperBound Technologies as a Consultant, specializing in the development of algorithms, customized software, data modeling, and process engineering. Rudy focused on research and development in the areas of machine learning and data mining. After five years, in 2011, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Reliancy. There, they led the company in helping businesses leverage the power of data and implementing cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies.

Following their tenure at Reliancy, Rudy Agovic joined Clarity Data Insights in 2022 as the Chief Analytics Officer. This role involved transforming siloed data into actionable insights and connections for manufacturing clients using data analytics and machine learning solutions.

Throughout their career, Rudy Agovic has demonstrated expertise in strategic data planning, business analytics, data modeling, and machine learning. Their research experience includes topics such as text document analysis and classification, anomaly detection, and sensor networks. Rudy holds a PhD and has a strong academic background from the University of Minnesota, where they also served as a Research/Teaching Assistant.

Rudy obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota in 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematics from the same university, which they completed in 2008. During their time as a graduate student, Rudy also attended the Graduate Summer School at the Institute For Pure and Applied Mathematics UCLA in 2005, where they focused on the field of Intelligent Extraction of Information from Graphs and High Dimensional Data.
