Ben Lazar

Ben Lazar currently serves as Associate General Counsel and Sr. Director at Clarivate, leading a global team of eight attorneys in corporate, commercial, intellectual property, and technology law, including artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Prior to this role, Ben was Deputy General Counsel and Sr. Director at Thumbtack, overseeing legal support across various departments and acting as the lead lawyer for Thumbtack Canada. Ben's legal career includes positions at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, where responsibilities involved advising private equity sponsors and handling corporate finance transactions. Ben holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from McGill University.
