Kortney Smith

Kortney Smith currently serves as an Associate Superintendent at Clark County School District, a position held since July 2019, following a tenure as Principal at Fay Galloway Elementary School. Previous experience includes roles as a school administrator in the Brown Deer School District and Milwaukee Public Schools, where Kortney was also the Head Start Director. In addition to educational leadership, Kortney has been a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated since April 2001. Academic qualifications include ongoing doctoral studies in Urban Education and Leadership at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor's degree in Professional Communication with Psychology from Alverno College.
