Jami Washington

Jami Washington, Ed. S., serves as the Coordinator of Federal Programs and Program Evaluation at Clarke County School District since September 2021. Previously, Jami held the position of Deputy Director of Development at Downtown Ministries from August 2019 to September 2021, and served as the Director of Special Programs and a Teacher at Downtown Academy from August 2013 to August 2020. Jami's career in education began as an Elementary School Teacher at Clarke County School District, where employment lasted from August 2005 to July 2013. Jami holds an Education Specialist degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Walden University, along with a Master of Education in Elementary Education and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, also from Walden University and South Carolina State University, respectively.
