Luther McDaniel, PhD, has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Principal of Gaines Elementary School within the Clarke County School District since August 2007. Previously, Luther held the position of Principal at Whitehead Road Elementary School and served as the Assistant Principal at Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary School. Prior to joining Clarke County, Luther worked in Rome City Schools as both an Assistant Principal and a U.S. History Teacher. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Mercer University, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Jacksonville State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Berry College.
