Sonuel Devlin

Sonuel Devlin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sonuel began their career in 1999, working as an Administrative/Scheduling Secretary at the University of Georgia. During this time, they maintained database files and provided clerical support. Sonuel then transitioned to the role of Senior Secretary/Records Supervisor, where they entered police reports and maintained personnel files.

In 2001, Sonuel joined the GA Department of Labor Athens Career Center as an Employment Marketing Representative. Here, they served as a marketing resource and provided support for service requests. Sonuel also planned and facilitated the Summer Leadership Academy to address high school dropout rates.

Sonuel returned to the University of Georgia in 2010 as a Communications Officer 2. In this role, they performed dispatcher duties and operated police radios. Sonuel also received certification in GCIC/NCIC. Sonuel stayed with the University until 2019.

From 2019 to 2021, Sonuel worked as a Social Services Case Manager at the Clarke County Division of Family and Children Services. Here, they provided comprehensive case management for clients involved in child/adult abuse or neglect. Sonuel conducted assessments and took immediate actions to ensure clients' safety.

In 2021, Sonuel took on two positions. Firstly, they worked as a Guest Services Specialist at the Holiday Inn Express from May to July. Sonuel then transitioned to the Clarke County School District as a Special Education Teacher, a role they currently hold. Here, they manage a caseload and provides differentiated instruction based on individual student needs.
