Steve Finlan

Steve Finlan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer at The Wine Society, starting in December 2018. Prior to that, they were the Chief Commercial Officer at Clarks since December 2014. From November 2012 to December 2014, they held the position of Director of International Operations at Marks and Spencer. Before that, they served as a Non-Executive Director at Bedfordshire NHS Trust from 2010 to 2012. Steve also has experience at Marks and Spencer as a Divisional Director Retail from 2006 to 2010. Steve was the Managing Director Sales at Thomas Cook AG from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they worked at Gap Inc. as the Vice President HR Europe from 1999 to 2004. Steve began their career at Marks and Spencer, initially as the International and Franchise Manager from 1990 to 1996, and then as the Head of Training and Development from 1996 to 1998.

Steve Finlan obtained an MBA in Retail from the University of Stirling from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they pursued a BA in Geography from UCL between 1981 and 1984. Steve completed their secondary education at Royal Grammar School High Wycombe from 1976 to 1981.
