Sonakshee Havis

Sonakshee Havis, MPH, currently serves as a Financial Analyst at Claro Healthcare since July 2023. Prior to this role, Sonakshee worked as a Senior Epidemiologist at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment from November 2020 to July 2023, where responsibilities included coordinating epidemiological responses and collaborating with local and community agencies to enhance health department programs. Sonakshee also gained experience as an Epidemiologist at Harris County Public Health, focusing on COVID-19 surveillance and data management. Earlier positions include consulting for Faststream Recruitment Group and serving as a Lab Manager and Researcher at the University of Houston. Sonakshee initiated a public health internship with the United Nations, developing tracking logs for health assessments. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Health from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston, complemented by minors in Medicine and Society, as well as Fine Arts.
