Efrain Vega

Efrain Vega is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Carrier and Business Operations at Claro Puerto Rico since May 2014, Efrain leads a team of over 350 employees and oversees installation tasks, repair activities, managed services, and SLA management. Previously, Efrain held the position of Strategic Planning and Engineering Director at WorldNet Telecommunications, managing operations and engineering for an IP network, as well as overseeing the presales and repair teams. Efrain's career began at Verizon, where roles included Carrier Relations Manager and Financial Officer, focusing on customer relationships, sales objectives, and cost analysis. Efrain started in the field as a Circuit Design Engineer at Puerto Rico Telephone. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Management from the University of Phoenix and a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico.
