Vijay Iyer has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Vijay started their career as a Production Engineer at Apar Ltd. in 1994 and then worked as a Management Trainee at Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd. in 1995. In 1996, they became a Design Engineer at Alphamech. In 1999, they joined Rolta India Ltd. as an Assistant Manager. Vijay then worked as a Technical Applications Specialist at Intergraph Systems South-East Asia Pte Ltd. from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2016, they held multiple roles at Trevis Technology/ Bluechips Technology Pte Ltd., including Technical Director and Principal Consultant. In 2016, they joined HollySys (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd. as a Senior Global Strategic Accounts Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Regional Vice President - Solutions Engineering, APJ at Claroty, an industrial cybersecurity company.
Vijay Iyer obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from BVCOE, University of Pune, from 1989 to 1993. Vijay also holds additional certifications such as an OPC Certified Professional from MatrikonOPC, a Certified Piping Engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and SCEM – Singapore Certified Energy Manager from the Institute of Engineers, Singapore and National Environment Agency, Singapore.
