Blake Anderson has a long history of working in product design and engineering. Blake started their career in 2011 as a Full Stack Engineer at Snugg Home, where they created the first prototypes of Audit Pro Express, a javascript application to aid contractors with home energy audits. Blake also developed the home energy audit results experience, and improved the on-boarding process for home energy audit applicants. In 2012, they joined Dropbox as a Mobile Engineer, where they built various project pieces for the mobile photo gallery app, Carousel, developed prototypes and additional application features for Dropbox iOS and Android clients, and provided post acquisition support for Snapjoy native applications. That same year, they joined Snapjoy as a Native Application Engineer, where they led the development of the Snapjoy iOS App, an application that allowed Snapjoy users to have all of their photos available on their mobile device, and one of the first apps to feature background photo uploads. Blake also developed the Windows Shoebox, a Windows application (built in C#) that allowed users to upload millions of files to Snapjoy, and maintained the Mac Shoebox, a Mac application (built in Objective-C) that allowed users to upload millions of files to Snapjoy. In 2013, Blake Anderson joined ClassDojo as Product Design & Engineering Leader, Mobile Engineering Leader, and Lead Mobile Engineer.
Blake Anderson attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2006 to 2010, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. In 2017, they obtained a Software Product Management (SPM®) Certificate from Product School. Blake also attended Udacity from 2017 to 2018, where they received a Nanodegree in Data Analysis.
