Tina Hwang

Tina Hwang is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in high-level legal roles across prominent technology and genealogy companies. Currently, Tina serves as the Head of Legal at ClassDojo, starting in December 2024. Prior to this position, Tina worked as an Election Worker for the 2024 Election and held the role of Chief Privacy Officer & VP Legal at Ancestry, where Tina led the global privacy program and enhanced user privacy and data governance. Tina's previous experience includes serving as Vice President & Deputy General Counsel for Product & IP at Twitter, managing a large team that advised on global product development and compliance, and as Legal Director & Associate General Counsel at WhatsApp, overseeing international product legal teams. Tina Hwang holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.
