Karen Tay has extensive experience in management and marketing within the food and retail sectors. Currently serving as a member of the Management Board and Group Lead for Alternative Proteins at Classic Fine Foods, Karen has held the position of Managing Director at Classic Fine Foods Singapore since 2017, and previously worked as Group Marketing Director from 2016 to 2017. Prior to these roles, Karen was a Regional Marketing Director at METRO/MAKRO Cash and Carry and gained strategic planning experience at Eastman Kodak. With a background as a consultant at Bain & Company and significant roles at Storck covering business unit management and marketing, Karen possesses a strong foundation in business development. Academically, Karen holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, an IMBA from Tsinghua University, and a Bachelor of Business Studies from Nanyang Business School.
