Stu Henwood

Stu Henwood serves as the Chief Transformation and Strategy Officer at Classic Group, one of New Zealand’s largest land developers and home builders, overseeing a diverse portfolio that includes residential, commercial, and lifestyle projects. Prior to this role, Stu held significant positions within Fletcher Building, including General Manager at Humes, where responsibilities encompassed leading business performance across numerous sales and manufacturing sites, and General Manager at Tasman Insulation, focusing on operational excellence in the insulation sector. Stu also served as Chairman of the Insulation Association of New Zealand, advocating for industry quality standards. Previous experience includes a leadership role as President of Decra Roofing Systems in the Americas and various managerial positions at Humes Pipeline Systems in New Zealand. Educationally, Stu holds an MBA from Victoria University of Wellington and advanced degrees from Massey University.
