Shantanu Bose is the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Classy. Shantanu has been with the company for two years and in their current role, they lead engineering through a growth phase on sustainable practices to drive effective market solutions in the Non-Profit software industry. Shantanu is a strategy stakeholder with executive management, business development and marketing. Shantanu has been responsible for productivity increases by empowering middle management to adopt and implement outcome-based software development practices. Shantanu has also been responsible for envisioning the next generation of the platform with system architects. Additionally, they have budgetary and financial responsibility for the business unit.

Prior to joining Classy, Shantanu was the Director of Software Engineering at Blackbaud. In this role, they were responsible for the development of strategy and technology initiatives for the Fundraising platform. Shantanu also drove operational excellency in engagements with business partners. Shantanu augmented and built on Blackbaud's industry leading distributed architecture on the public cloud. Shantanu also coached and matured high performance teams in an exciting vibrant company culture.

Shantanu Bose earned their Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University-California State University. Shantanu studied business administration and management. Prior to that, they earned their bachelor's degree in computer science and biology from the University of Dubuque. Shantanu also holds a high school diploma from Don Bosco Park Circus.

They work with Marc Ferris - Chief Growth Officer, Chris Silver - VP, Product Marketing, and Eric Panesse - SVP, Product Management & Design. Shantanu Bose reports to Chris Himes, CEO.
