Julian Haddad is a graduate student researcher and associate instructor at the UC Davis Department of Political Science since September 2021, specializing in introductory political science courses and utilizing evidence-based pedagogy. Responsibilities include conducting experiments to analyze voter reactions to technological impacts and presenting research at conferences. Currently serves as the Academic Support Tutoring Center Site Lead at Solano Community College and as an adjunct assistant professor at American River College. Additionally, Julian is a graduate student researcher at the UC Davis Feminist Research Institute and has experience as an AI trainer with OpenAI. Previous roles include lecturer at UC San Diego, research assistant at the Center for Peace and Security Studies, and teaching assistant at UCSD. Julian co-founded the band Stay for the Fireworks, achieving recognition in local music competitions and releasing two albums. Julian holds a PhD in Political Science and Government from UC Davis, a Master of International Affairs from UC San Diego GPS, and a BA in International Affairs and History from UC San Diego.
