Brent Richardson

Brent Richardson has extensive work experience in the IT field. Brent is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Clay Electric Cooperative, Inc., a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this role, Brent worked at Clay Electric Cooperative, Inc. for 15 years, where they held various IT management roles. In these roles, they managed multiple teams, including the cyber security team, endpoint support team, systems support team, and the project management office (PMO). Brent also worked as a program manager for a major enterprise conversion project, which involved replacing five major information systems and migrating or replacing numerous member and vendor interfaces. Additionally, Brent served as the project manager and technical lead for the conversion to Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI), where they were responsible for IT infrastructure design and deployment, software installation and configuration, and integration with the existing customer information system. Prior to their time at Clay Electric Cooperative, Inc., Brent worked as an application programmer at Sage Software, Inc. from June 2006 to September 2007.

Brent Richardson completed their education in chronological order, starting in 2001 with an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Engineering from Santa Fe College. Brent then pursued further studies and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, graduating in 2006.
