Laurel Ring

Laurel Ring has over two decades of experience in communications and public relations. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at Clay Electric Cooperative, Inc. since April 2011, Laurel is responsible for graphic design, advertising, website maintenance, video voiceovers, and social media management. Prior to this role, Laurel worked as a Public Relations Specialist for the Florida High School Athletic Association from August 2002 to April 2011, acting as the spokesperson and directing various awards programs. Additional experience includes positions as Director of Special Programs at the Florida Sports Hall of Fame from 1997 to 2002 and Public Relations Director at the University of Central Florida during 2000-2001. Laurel started in sports media as a Sports Information Intern at UCF, managing media relations for multiple athletic teams. Laurel earned a Master of Arts in Mass Communication, specializing in Public Relations, from the University of Florida and graduated from Columbia High School in 1995.
